Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026. This policy describes how Maison Séoul SAS, as data controller, collects and uses your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
Data we collect
We only collect the data needed to provide our services:
- Account and orders: first name, last name, email address, delivery address, order history.
- Payment: handled by our secure payment providers; no card details are stored by Maison Séoul.
- Customer care: the content of your messages sent via the contact form.
- Browsing: audience measurement data, only if you have accepted the corresponding cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
- Processing and delivering your orders — performance of the contract.
- Managing your customer account and after-sales service — performance of the contract.
- Meeting our accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.
- Audience measurement and site improvement — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Newsletter — your consent; every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Retention periods
- Account data: 3 years after your last activity.
- Order and billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation).
- Customer care messages: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Cookie consent: 6 months at most.
Recipients
Your data is shared with authorised Maison Séoul teams and with the processors strictly necessary to the service: hosting, logistics and transport (shipping from Seoul), payment providers. Each processor is bound by a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR. Transfers outside the European Union are governed by standard contractual clauses. No data is ever sold to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to set post-mortem directives. To exercise these rights, write to us at donnees@maisonseoul.fr or via the contact form. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse audience measurement cookies — refusing is as easy as accepting. No measurement or advertising cookies are set before you give your consent.
- Strictly necessary cookies (cart, language, session): exempt from consent, essential to the operation of the site.
- Audience measurement and marketing cookies: set only after your consent, which is kept for 6 months at most.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies; the banner will be shown to you again.
